Star Rubber Environmental Ltd is a company which was formed in September 2002. We specialise in quality surfacing, using polyurethane adhered materials.
Our background is in the construction and surfacing of athletics tracks and we have international experience.
This led directly to the transferal of the materials and techniques into the creation of safety surfaces for children's play areas.
We have extensive knowledge of the industry and have had many years of experience working closely with Local Authorities, Educational establishments,
schools, parish councils, Architects and Designers. 'TigerMulch® is a new and innovative loose-fill surface using coloured rubber mulch,
which we manufacture using recycled tyres. When we first introduced this to the UK there was no competition. Since then others have realised what a
good idea it is and there are now a number of people with their own interpretations of 'Tiger Mulch'®. We are continually working on innovative
surfaces for the wetpour industry and our work with resin coated stone draws on our proven high quality methodology using polyurethane binders.
Similarly, we have developed light reflective surfaces, for theme parks and play areas, which combine highly attractive graphic opportunities within
